Insect Inspections

We call them pests for a reason!insect-termite-inspections

Those annoying insects that can wreak havoc on a house or building are not your friend. Especially because they are sneaky little things that creep into tiny cracks and crevices, eat holes through supporting wood beams, and seem to endlessly procreate.

At General Inspections you will find a licensed Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) inspector who can provide you with the proper State mandated report before a home is sold or re-financed.

We are going to inspect for pests like:

  • Termites
  • Carpenter ants
  • Carpenter bees
  • Powderpost beetles

Even if we can’t actually see the insects, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for evidence of their presence by looking for:

  • Damaged wood
  • Frass
  • Termite tubes
  • Exit holes

And we’ll also be watching for conditions that pests love:

  • Standing water or high moisture content in wood
  • Leaks in plumbing, roofs, windows, etc.
  • Wood that comes in direct contact with the ground
  • Cracks that invite insects in

As certified members of InterNACHI, the world’s largest non-profit home inspector association, we have the training you need for the highest quality home inspections, with the code of ethics to back it up. When you choose to accompany us through the inspection, you’ll see our attention to detail and our determination to get you the most thorough and accurate reports possible.

We want to empower you to make wise home buying decisions! Call today to learn more and get your pest inspection scheduled.
